As surprising as it may sound, many builders today are installing five-foot clear plate glass windows in the bathroom - even over the tub! This lack of privacy can easily be overcome, with beautiful results, by adding a leaded glass panel of colors or clear textures that will not diminish the light but offer both modesty and security. Sandblasting and etching offer another alternative. A well-designed etched glass panel offers the same obscurity as lace curtains, while emphasizing the room's theme and allowing light into the room. |
